Johannes Van Hoesen

by

Based on subsequent resources, Johannes Van Hoesen was born 1665. He was the son of New Netherland pioneers Jan Frans and Volkie Jurriaans Van Hoesen.

In 1697, his household was configured on the census of Rensselaerswyck. At that time, he was alone in the house.

In Jun 1709, he married two time widow Willempie Viele at the Albany Dutch church. At that time, he was identified as a widower. Perhaps, his first wife was "Jannetje Jansse Cornelisz de Ryck" who died in 1708. Van Hoesen's marriage to Willempie is said to have produced two more children.

Available possible combinations caution us against assigning additional life information at this time.

We move on for now from the life of the Johannes Van Hoesen who married widow Willempie Viele in 1709.
