The New York State Museum’s exhibit REPRESENT: Contemporary Native American Art offers a unique opportunity for educators to explore the culture of the First Nations people through their modern art and craftsmanship. The selected works of art reflect ideas, concepts and topics that are appropriate for a variety of ages, correlate to both the educational programs—People of the Longhouse and Native People of New York—and work well using the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS).
