Will of Margaret Ten Broeck - 1812


Summary of will of Margaret Ten Broeck of "Colonie."

Ex: "my dear friend" Jeremiah Lansing.

Sister Elizabeth, wife of Rensselaer Schuyler, [bequeathed/left] real and personal property and her third of house occupied by her mother. If Elizabeth died without children, she leaves estate to Dirck, [her only] brother.

Elizabeth [left] all personal property except the silver punch bowl which she gives to Dirck. She asks Eliz. to bring it to his house immediately upon her death.

She gives all real and personal prop. to Eliz. for her enjoyment; not to be controlled by her husband.

Nephews, Stuyvesant and Rensselaer Ten Broeck and niece Margaret Ten Broeck [left] real estate in Washington County.

To Dirck the bond her father executed for Elizabeth Lansing [?] and all money etc. [?] that niece Margaret TB gold neck chain [sic].
