Will of Evert Wendell - 1763


In the name of God, Amen. I, Evert Wendell, of Albany, trader, being in perfect health. I leave all my estate to my mother, Anettie Wendell, for life. After her death I leave to my sister Gessie £100. Of the remainder, I leave ¼ to the children of my sister Elizabeth, deceased, ¼ to my sister Gessie, ¼ to my sister Cathalina, wife of Gysbert Marselis, and ¼ to the only son of my sister Catharine.

I make my mother executor.

Dated May 2, 1763.

The only Cornelis Wendell of note would have been about eighteen-years-old in 1763.
