This list of the city's most prominent Federalists includes mostly younger and not-so-established (also newcomers) older community leaders. Conspicuously absent are General Schuyler, Abraham Ten Broeck, and the older Gansevoorts to name but a few. This presentation was intended to refute or at least rebuff a manifesto issued by prominent Albany Antifederalists in April.
