Selection copied from one presentation of an often-encountered online source. This list of the city's most prominent Federalists includes mostly younger and not-so-established (also newcomers) older community leaders. Conspicuously absent are General Schuyler, Abraham Ten Broeck, and the older Gansevoorts to name but a few. This presentation was intended to refute or at least rebuff a manifesto issued by prominent Albany Antifederalists in April.

Hun: Either Thomas D. or Thomas J. Hun, both of whom were born in 1736.
