John Zabriskie, Jr.

by

John Zabriskie, Jr. was born during the 1750s. We refer to this individual as "John Jr." to prevent confusion with a same-named contemporary who died in 1782.

Unless we have confused him with John Ja. Zabriskie, this individual appears to have left only a light impression on the community landscape! In any event, we are cautious about adding mis-information.

"John Sabrisky" married Dorothea Bogart at the Albany Dutch church in May 1778. Subsequent references in the church annals have not yet been found.

In 1800, his third ward household consisted of an aging couple.

John Zabriskie, Jr. died in June 1805 and was buried from the Dutch church. His will passed probate in February 1808. His wife may have lived until 1811.
