Anna Winne was born in October 1694. She was the daughter of frontier trader and Albany businessman Frans Winne and Elsie Gansevoort Winne.

Anna was almost thirty when she married a slightly younger Johannes Hun in May 1725. By 1736, their four children had been baptized in the Albany Dutch church.

These Huns lived in Albany's third ward where Johannes was a moderately successful businessman.

In 1753, Anna was left a share of her brother's substantial estate.
