Anna Van Hoesen Wyngaert

Anna Van Hoesen was born before 1660. She was the daughter of Danish-ancestry New Netherland pioneers Jan Franse and Volkie Van Nostrant Van Hoesen.

She was the wife of Albany baker Luykas Gerritse Wyngaert. By 1695, more than nine of her children had been born and some of them were christened at the Albany Dutch church where Anna was a member.

These Wyngaerts lived in Albany's first and second wards where Luycas Gerritse was an officer and active participant in community-based activities.

In October 1709, they filed a joint will which identifed nine living children. Anna Van Hoesen Wyngaert was said to be living at Kinderhook at the time of her death.
