by
Stefan Bielinski

Agnietie Schaets probably was born about 1680. She was the daughter of Schenectady surgeon Reynier and his wife Catherine Bensing Schaets. Her father and brother were killed in the attack of February 9, 1690. Her mother re-married and moved to Albany.

In December 1702, she became the second wife of Matthys Nack. By 1717, seven children had been baptized in the Albany Dutch church. In October 1720, her daughter was baptized in New York.

The names of Agnietie Schaets Nack and her husband dropped from Albany rolls after 1717.
