Stefan Bielinski

Magdalena Quackenbush was born about 1660. She was the daughter of Pieter and Maria Quackenbush - early settlers of Beverwyck and prominent residents of Albany.

In September 1683, she married Jonas V. Douw at the Albany Dutch church. Over then next decade, four children had been christened in Albany where both parents were members.

These Douws were establishing themselves in the community when Magda died sometime after the birth of her last child in 1692. Jonas V. Douw re-married in 1696. Magdalena Quackenbush Douw had lived less than forty years.
