Anna Loockermans

Anna Loockermans was born about 1663. She is said to have been the daughter of Pieter Janse Loockermans.

By 1683, she had become the wife of Bethlehem farmer Adam Winne. He died after she given birth to as many as six Winne children. In October 1690, she married widower Jacob Teunise Van Woert at the Albany Dutch church. By 1704, ten more children had been christened in Albany where she was a church member and occasional baptism sponsor. Over more than two decades, Anna had delivered at least sixteen children.

Her second husband was a shoemaker and liquor retailer whose home was on the North End of Albany.

Jacob Teunise died in July 1730. Anna Loockermans Winne Van Woert may have been buried in the churchyard in July 1742 or in 1756.
