Rachel Fonda Hansen

Rachel Fonda was born in August 1760. She was the daughter of Albany County residents Johannes P. and Dirckje Winne Fonda.

She married Albany native Peter Hansen in 1781. Their child was born in July 1782.

During the 1760s, Peter Hansen lived in the second ward where he was a businessman and officeholder. However, their household was not historically visible in the 1780s.

We suspect that Rachel Fonda Hansen died prior to 1790. Peter Hansen appears to have lived into the 1800s - perhaps as a boarder in another Albany house.
