Samuel Bromley

by

Samuel Bromley was christened in the Albany Dutch church on August 4, 1751. He was the son of marginal mainstays William and Lena Boom Bromley. He probably was named for his mother's brother who witnessed his baptism.

However, the child of "Billie" Bromley was buried from the church later in August 1751. A second Samuel Bromley was christened by those parents (same sponsors) in October of 1753 and lived a long Albany life. Thus, this Samuel probably died shortly after his birth.
