Jannetje Bancker Winne

Jannetje Bancker was born in 1744. She was the daughter of Schenectady residents William and Anna Veeder Bancker.

In May 1763, she became the second wife of Albany tanner and leatherworker Daniel Winne. Their three children were baptized in the Albany Dutch church where she was a member and pewholder.

Jannetje Bancker Winne lived less than fifty years! She died in 1793 and was buried from the Dutch church. Her son was William B. Winne - "the three-penny post!"
