Elizabeth Beekman Waldron
by
Stefan Bielinski

Elizabeth Beekman was born in New York City in November 1700. She was the daughter of Martin and Neeltie Slingerland Beekman.

On January 19, 1726, she married William Waldron at the Albany Dutch church. Her first child was born six months later. Ten more births were recorded in the Dutch church baptisms between 1721 and 1741.

These Waldrons lived in the first ward where William was a prominent mason and council member.

Elizabeth was not mentioned in the will her husband filed in 1768. Her exclusion probably meant that she was dead. However, we still seek information on her later years and passing.
