Will of John Fryer - 1783

In the name of God, Amen. I John Fryer, of the City of Albany, late clearriner (mariner?) being at present weak in body. I leave to my grandson, Bastian Visscher, my silver watch. To my grandson Samuel Willett, my silver hilted sword and my fowling piece. All the residue of my estate to my daughters, Sara Willett, wife of Edward, and Lydia Visscher, wife of Matthew Visscher, Esq..

I appoint my said sons-in-law, Edward Willett and Matthew Visscher, and my friend, Robert Yates Esq., executors.

Witnesses Bastejan Visscher, Peter W. Hilton, cooper, and John N. Visscher, gentleman.
