"(In Dutch Language) In den Namen des Heeren, Amen,” February 2, 1719/20.

Elizabeth Van Der Poel, widow, of the city of Albany. Leaves legacy to daughter Ariantie, and to Margaret, wife of Volckert Dowe, “my great looking glass which was my mother’s.” Also legacies to daughters Maria, wife of Hohanes Ninhagen; Magdalene, wife of Abraham Lansing.

"My daughter [Margarita] is to have the house in Albany, between the house of William Haagens, and Philip De Forest.” Legacy to daughter of Helena, wife of Jan Barents Wemp.

I make Oliver Teller and Hermanus Wendell, executors.

Will dated February 2, 1720. Witnesses, Stephen Groesbeck, Jacob Beekman, Rutger Bleecker. Proved, January 5, 1725/6. Letters of administration granted to Volkert Dowe, son in Law. Printed in Abstract of Wills volume 26, p. 328. Some punctuation, spelling, and paragraphing supplied.
