In May 1729, Jannetie was thirty-one when she became the second wife of Johannes G. Lansing. Despite being a decade older than most early Albany brides, she gave birth to four Lansing children. Jannetje Van Vechten Lansing died in March 1752 and was buried from the Dutch church.
