Catharina Van Patten Van Vechten

by

Catharina Van Patten (Petten) was born about 1670. She probably was a member of the Schenectady branch of her family. Her father was Schenctady settler, Claes Frederickse Van Petten.

In November 1694, she married Teunis Dirckse Van Vechten at the Albany Dutch church. By 1707, several children had been christened at the Albany church where both parents were members.

These Van Vechtens lived for a time in Albany but later relocated to Loonenburgh in southern Albany County.

Catharina Van Patten Van Vechten was last mentioned in the Albany community in conjunction with the birth of her child in 1707.
