Volkie Van Hoesen Vandenbergh

Volkie Van Hoesen Vandenbergh was born about 1675. She was the daughter of Volkert J. and Maria Bensing Van Hoesen.

In December 1699, she married Albany native Wynant W. Vandenbergh at the Albany Dutch church. By 1723, eight of her children had been christened in Albany.

Wynant Vandenbergh was a brickmaker whose third ward house was an Albany landmark for many decades.

Volkie Van Hoesen Vandenbergh died in April 1747 and was buried by the church. Her husband lived until 1758.
