Christina Ten Broeck Van Dyck

by

Christina Ten Broeck was born in June 1694. She was the daughter of Albany businessman and leader Wessel and Catharina Loockermans Ten Broeck.

In April 1718, she married Albany native and Kinderhook resident David Van Dyck at the Albany Dutch church. By 1732, eight children had been christened in Albany where she was a regular baptism sponsor.

This Van Dyck family lived in Albany's second and first wards where David Van Dyck was a community leader. She was named as a daughter and heir in the will filed by her father in 1723.

The name of Christina Ten Broeck Van Dyck dropped from Albany rolls following the birth of her last child in September 1732.
