Elizabeth Dox Winne
by
Stefan Bielinski

Elizabeth Dox was born in 1737. She was the daughter of Schaghticoke residents Peter and Geertruy De Vos Dox.

About 1755, she married Albany tanner Daniel K. Winne. Her only child was baptized at the Albany Dutch church in 1756.

Elizabeth Dox Winne probably did not live to her twenty-fifth birthday. Widower Daniel K. Winne re-married in 1763!
