Will of Hans Hansen - 1756

In the name of God, Amen, March 10, 1756. I, Hans Hansen, of Albany, merchant, being sound in body. “I leave to my grand daughter, Sara Hansen, only child of my eldest son, Hendrick Hansen, deceased, in right of her father’s Primogeniture, £5, so that she shall claim no right to my estate.

I leave to my wife Sara the use of all real and personal estate during her widow hood, but not to sell. After her decease, I leave to my son Peter my now dwelling house and lot where I now dwell, and he is to pay to my son Johanes £160. I leave to my grand daughter, Sara Hansen, £50. All the rest of my estate to my sons, Peter and Johanes. I make my wife and sons executors.
