Henry Zoble

Henry Zoble probably was the son of Albany resident William Zoble. He probably was born within a few years of 1770. William Zoble was dead by January 1789 when his will passed probate. Later, Henry was identified as his heir.

In 1788, the real property of "Henry Zoble" was valued on the first ward assessment. We search for his whereabouts on the first federal census.

In May 1792, he was among those identified as an heir of the late William Zobel in regard to a lot on the south side of Wolf Street.

In 1799, Henry's house, lot, and property were valued moderately. The next year, the first ward home of "Henry Sobbes" included two young boys and a young couple. After that, his name appears to have dropped from the community-based record.
