Maria Wendell Lansing

Maria Wendell was born in July 1722. She was the daughter of Albany residents Ephraim and Anna Wendell.

In 1747, she married Gerardus Lansing. The marriage prroduced at least two children christened at the Albany Dutch church in 1749 and 1754.

Their house was on Pearl Street from where Gerardus was a prominent merchant and civic leader.

Maria Wendell Lansing died sometime after the birth of her second child. Her husband re-married in 1778.
