by

Hendrickie Winne was born in November 1763. She was the daughter of North End residents Jellis and Fytje Van Woert Winne.

In September 1783, she married Albany resident Hendrick Evertsen. By 1792, three children had been christened at the Albany Dutch church.

In 1790, this Evertsen family lived in the third ward. Later, they moved to Hudson Street where Hendrick practiced the carpenter's trade.

Hendrickie Winne Evertsen died in March 1794 and was buried from the Dutch church. A year later, Evertsen re-married and raised their children within his new family.
