Cornelia Waldron was born in August 1730. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Beekman Waldron. She grew up as a middle child of a large family in a mason's home in the first ward.

She was the wife of newcomer Patrick Clark. By 1769, ten of their children were baptized in the Albany Dutch church where she was a member and pewholder. She was the matriarch of the Albany Clark family.

These Clarks lived in Albany's first ward where Patrick supported his family by doing odd jobs and running errands.

In 1768, she was scheduled to inherit a share in her father's estate.

Cornelia Waldron Clark was alive and accounted for on the census of Albany householders in 1790.
