Mary Stevenson Schuyler

by

Mary Stevenson was the second wife of Schenectady surveyor Nicholas Schuyler.

Following the death of his first wife in 1744, Mary married widower Schuyler and was named as his wife and heir in the will he filed in 1746. Although Schuyler had seven children still alive from his first marriage, his brief union with Mary Stevenson probably was childless.

Mary Stevenson Schuyler was said to have been the sister of Albany sheriff James Stevenson. However, she was not named in the will he filed in 1763.
