Anna Radcliff Sixberry

Anna Radcliff was born in November 1718. She was the daughter of Johannes and Celia Yates Radcliff. She grew up in a carman's home on what became South Pearl Street surrounded by the families of other former garrison soldiers.

In December 1738, she married Billy Sixberry at the Albany Dutch church Their son, "Nicholas," was christened there in August 1739. Her parents were baptism sponsors.

The location of the residence of this budding Sixberry family has not been determined.

Their marriage was not a long one. Anna buried her husband in January 1740. Three months later, her son died. In June she was granted letters of administration on Billy's estate.

Anna Radcliff Sixberry ("daughter of Johannes Radcliff") was buried in April 1741. She had lived but twenty-one years.
