Christina Pruyn Gerritse

Christina Pruyn was born in 1674. She was the daughter of tailor Frans Pruyn and his wife, Alida. In 1694, she joined the Albany Dutch church.

In May 1706, thirty-one-year-old Christina married Albany shoemaker Jan Gerritse at her father's Albany home. Christina Pruyn Gerritse died eleven months later in April 1707 following the birth of her only child.
