Elizabeth Lansing Bradt

by

This Elizabeth Lansing was born in August 1700. She was the daughter of Hendrick and Jannetje Knickerbacker Lansing.

About 1722, she married Albany native Egbert Bradt. By 1745, her nine children had been christened at the Albany Dutch church where she was a member, pewholder, and regular baptism sponsor.

These Bradts lived mainline yet historically inconspicuous lives in Albany's first ward in a marriage that lasted more than six decades.

Elizabeth Lansing Bradt lost her husband in March 1787. She lived for a number of years afterward.
