John Campbell

by

The household of a third John Campbell was configured on the Albany area census in 1800. This individual lived in Watervliet and had three boys, two girls, and an older female in his household. At this point, we will refer to him as John Campbell of Watervliet to distinguish/differentiate him from the other same-named contemporaries.

We expect that this subject was married and was raising a family. Substantial information has been retrieved for his name including listings for two same-named individuals in the first Albany city directories. At this point, we are unsure if either of those references relates to John of Watervliet.

This offering is not yet a biography but is presented here to differentiate him from other same-named contemporaries. Missing substantial defining information, we move on for now from the life of a third early Albany John Campbell.
