Susanna Bradt Van Schoonhoven

Susanna Bradt was born in December 1688. She was the daughter of Albany residents Dirck and Anna Teunise Bradt.

In February 1714, she married Jacobus Van Schooonhoven of the Half Moon. By 1731, the marriage had produced seven children. She was a pewholder at the Albany Dutch church.

These Van Schoonhovens lived north of the Mohawk where Jacobus was one of the most prominent agricultural businessmen until his death in 1749.

Susanna Bradt Van Schoonhoven died on September 27, 1760 as recorded in her son's bible.
