Maria Bradt Roseboom

by

Maria Bradt probably was born during the early 1700s. Several possibilities exist as to her parentage.

In November 1725, she married Albany native Ahasuerus Roseboom at the Albany Dutch church. Between 1726 and 1734, three children were christened at the Albany church.

These Rosebooms lived in the third ward where Ahasuerus was a busineesman and community mainstay.

Their marriage, however, was not a particularly long one. Maria Bradt Roseboom, "the wife of Ahasuerus Roseboom," was buried in November 1745. She was not named in the will her husband filed in December 1770.
