Daniel A. Bradt

by

Daniel A. Bradt was born in September 1734. He was the son of Albany residents Anthony and Rebecca Vanderheyden Bradt. He was known as "Daniel A. Bradt" to prevent confusion with his slightly younger cousin, the ferryman's son. He grew up in a carpenter's home in the third ward.

The sole solid reference (Daniel A. Bradt) to his adult life so far encountered is from an assessment roll for 1788 which valued his second ward property. The census of 1790, enumerated the household of "Daniel Bradt" in that same location.

We seek defining information on his adult life and passing.
