Christoffel Bancker

Christoffel Bancker was born in October 1695. He was the first-born son in the large family of Evert and Elizabeth Abeel Bancker. He grew up in a prominent businessman's homes in Albany and Manhattan.

In October 1719, he married Elizabeth Hooglant in New York. Their child was christened there in 1720.

In 1734, he was named co-executor and an heir of his father's estate. He also was left five pounds as his birthright.

Over the next three decades, he was a prominent businessman, trader, landholder, and officeholder headquartered in New York. In April 1750, he was commissioned to be Public Appraiser in New York.

Christoffel Bancker died in April 1763 and was buried in New York.
