Will of Cornelis Van Dyck - 1747
In the name of God, Amen. “Know all men by these presents that on the 26 of March, 1747, I, Cornelius Van Dyck, of Albany.” I leave to my wife Maria the whole income of my estate during the time she remains my widow. And after her death or marriage, I give all my estate, real and personal, to my son Hendrick. The interest on two bonds, one for £80 and one for £50, to be for the use of my wife, and then to my son Hendrick. I make my wife and my cousin, John De Peyster executors.
