Susanna Vandenbergh De Ridder

Susanna Vandenbergh was christened at the Albany Dutch church in January 1702. She was the daughter of Cornelis C. and Susanna Ouderkerk Vandenbergh whose earlier children were born in New York. By 1720, her large family appears to have been living at the Halfmoon.

In November 1725, she married Albany native Cornelis De Ridder at the Albany Dutch church. By 1727, the marriage had produced two children. Both daughters married Albany residents.

These De Ridders are thought to have settled in the Schaghticoke area. However, the marriage seems to have produced no more children.

Perhaps Susanna Vandenbergh De Ridder was dead by the end of July 1733, when Cornelis De Ridder remarried.
