Maria Van Corlear Glandorf
by
Stefan Bielinski

Maria Van Corlear was born in July 1693. She was the daughter of Benoni Van Curler and his wife Elizabeth Vanderpoel Van Curler.

In September 1729, she was past her thirty-sixth birthday when she married schoolteacher Johannes Glandorf at the Albany Dutch church. It appears that the marriage produced no children.

The couple lived in Albany where Glandorf taught school. The specific location of their residence and how long Glandorf lived there is unknown to us.

In 1750, Maria Van Corlear Glandorf was alive and was called a widow in the will of her mother. She was slated to inherit all her mothers possessions and fifty pounds extra for caring for her mother. Maria died sometime after 1750!
