Christina Van Allen Ten Broeck

Christina Van Allen was born in April 1704. She was the daughter of Johannes and Christina Ten Broeck Van Allen. She grew up in a prominent businessman's home in Albany's first ward.

In September 1725, she married her cousin and childhood neighbor Jacob Ten Broeck. The marriage is said to have produced eleven children who were christened at churches in Albany, Kaatsbaan, and Germantown.

These Ten Broecks lived south of Albany on inherited land along the Catskill Creek.

After a marriage of only twenty years, Jacob Ten Broeck died in September 1744. Christina Van Allen Ten Broeck died in 1753.
