Egbertie Visscher De Garmo
Egbertie Visscher probably was born before 1700. She was the daughter of Bastian and Dirckie Teunis Visscher. Her baptism was not recorded in the surviving records of the Albany Dutch church. She grew up in a prominent brewer's home in the first ward.
These De Garmos were low profile Albany mainstays in a number of locations for many decades. Johannes was a shoemaker and lot holder of modest achievement.
Egbertie Visscher De Garmo buried her husband in June 1764. She died sometime thereafter.
