Pieter Sanders

by

Pieter Sanders was born in November or December 1755. He was the son of Albany leader Robert Sanders and his second wife, a much younger Elizabeth Schuyler Sanders. Pieter grew up in a large, combined, elite family and lived in several conspicuous locations.

Pieter Sanders was not yet ten alive when his father filed a will in 1765. He was named as the eldest and only son. He was scheduled to receive substantial lands and properties.

However, Pieter probably did not live long enough to marry. His father is said to have left no male successors!
