This Hendrick Roseboom was born in the winter of 1703 and christened on March 3. He was the son of Hendrick Jr. and Deborah Staats Roseboom. Sometimes, he was referred to as "Hendrick H. Roseboom." He grew up in the second ward in the home of an Albany mainstay.
These Rosebooms probably were Albany residents. However, the existence of a number of same-named contemporaries in the region complicates fleshing out their Albany lives. His son, Hendrick, became an Albany resident.
In any event, "Hendrick H. Roseboom" was buried from the Dutch church in August 1746 leaving a young widow and a number of small children. He had lived just forty-three years.
Sources: The life of this Hendrick Roseboom is CAP biography number 1658. This sketch is derived chiefly from family and community-based resources.
