James Menzie

Referred to variously, James Menzie was an Albany resident in during the latter decades of the eighteenth century.

His wife was Catherine Mc Glashon. They were members of the Albany Presbyterian church in 1790 and afterwards. Their daughter was christened there in March 1790. Church records identified him as a tinsmith.

In 1790, his first ward household included three members. John Menzie also was listed as a head of household in the first ward.

In October 1794, he was the partner of Spencer Stafford at 45 Court Street and also with a branch in Schenectady.
