Cornelia Lansing Waldron

by

Cornelia Lansing was born in April 1718. She was an older daughter in the large family of Albany residents Gerrit and Elizabeth Bancker Lansing. She grew up in Albany's second ward but lost her father when she was eighteen.

In December 1743, she married Albany bricklayer Pieter Waldron at the Albany Dutch church. By 1763, six children had been christened in Albany.

These Waldrons made their home in Albany's first ward. Their marriage, however, ended when Cornelia Lansing Waldron died about 1765. Her husband re-married a few years later and lived to raise a large combined family.
