Catharina Lansing Dox
Catharina Lansing was born in October 1742. She was the daughter of Gerrit Lansing, Jr. and his second wife, the former Wyntie Vandenbergh (who was a widow as well). She grew up a part of a large combined family in a woodworker's home in the third ward.
By 1813, the name of Peter Dox (Sr.) no longer appeared on Albany rolls.
Peter Dox died November 1831. At that time, he was living with his son Abraham in Hopeton, Yates County.
