Agnes Logan Rogers

by

Agnes Logan was the wife of possible Albany resident John Rogers. She probably was the sister of Ann Logan Boyd - wife of a prominent Albany businessman. If so, she would have been born in Northern Ireland probably about 1740. We seek defining information on her origins and path to Albany.

She is said to have married Rogers on the day of their embarkation for America in 1762.

The existence of a number of Albany County contemporaries named John Rogers (including at least a one-time Albany resident) complicates our biographical task and dictates caution in the assignment of life information to her family.

With so many basic questions still unresolved, we move on for now from the Albany life of Agnes Logan Rogers.
