Peter Brooks

Peter Brooks was born in May of 1780. He was the son of Peter and Frances Wendell Brooks.

In September 1791, he was confirmed at St. Peter's Episcopal church.

He was married to a woman named Cathalina and they raised a family in their Albany home.

From 1813 to 1830, he was listed in the city directory as a carpenter at 100 Hudson Street.

This Peter Brooks died in May 1830 and his will passed probate in December. Beginning in 1831, his widow was identified as the head of the 100 Hudson Street household. He had lived fifty-seven years. His widow survived until 1843.
