Jacob Maas Bloomendal

Jacob Maas Bloomendal probably was born during the l690s or just after. He was the son of Maas C. and Jacomyntie Gardinier. He was the brother of Cornelis Maas. He was known as "Jacob Maase" or Bloomendal.

In February 1731, he married Sara Gardinier at the Albany Dutch church. By 1741, four children had been christened in Albany where he was a regular baptism sponsor.

In 1734, he was appointed firemaster for the first ward.

Jacob Maas Bloomendal died in June 1755 and was buried in the churchyard. In 1761, he was noted in the will filed by his brother.
