Daniel A. Bradt

by

Daniel A. Bradt was born in August 1708. He was the son of Anthony and Willempie Teunis Bradt. He grew up in the North End of Albany. His father was the city treasurer and a church officer who died in 1722 when Daniel was only fourteen years old.

In July 1732, he married Wyntie Bogardus at the Albany Dutch church. By 1735, three children had been christened in Albany where the parents were occasional baptism sponsors.

Daniel A. Bradt died after 1735. Because several contemporary "Daniel Bradts" were living in Albany County after that date we are cautious about assigning quality information. Perhaps this individual was the Daniel Bradt buried from the Albany Dutch church in June 1740.
